Terms of Service

These Terms are the agreement between you and the company behind DreamTrak. We’ve written them to be understood, including the parts that protect us.

Each section starts with a short summary to help you find your way. The summaries aren’t part of the agreement; the full text beneath them is.

At a glance

Trak 1 is free

The Yellow Nexus is yours to use without paying, for as long as you like.

Cancel renewal any time

Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep access until the period you’ve paid for ends.

Purchases aren’t refundable

Traks and Teema minutes open the moment you pay, so they aren’t refunded unless the law requires it.

Not medical care

DreamTrak supports your practice. It doesn’t diagnose, treat or replace a professional.

If you need help right now

DreamTrak isn’t an emergency or crisis service. If you’re thinking about harming yourself or someone else, or you’re in danger, call your local emergency number: 112 across the EU and in many other countries, 911 in the US, 999 in the UK. In the US you can also call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

01

Our agreement

In short

By creating an account or using DreamTrak, you accept these Terms and the policies they mention. If you don’t agree, please don’t use DreamTrak.

DreamTrak, meaning the mobile app, the website at mydreamtrak.com and the services that come with them, is provided by Soul Science LLC, whose registered address is in section 22. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company, and “you” means the person using DreamTrak.

These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and AI Safety page and, if you take part in it, the Referral Program Terms. Where the terms of a specific program conflict with these Terms, the specific terms apply to that program.

Please read section 18 carefully. It explains how disputes are resolved, including by arbitration.

02

Who can use DreamTrak

In short

You need to be at least 16. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian needs to agree too.

You must be 16 or older to create an account or use DreamTrak. If you’re between 16 and 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms with you.

You can’t use DreamTrak if we’ve previously closed your account for breaking these Terms, or if the law prevents you from using services like ours.

03

Your account

In short

Keep your details accurate and your sign-in private. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • give accurate, complete information, and keep it up to date;
  • keep your password and sign-in methods secure;
  • use the account yourself, and not share, sell or transfer it;
  • take responsibility for everything that happens under your account; and
  • tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it, by .

We recommend turning on two-step verification in Settings.

04

What DreamTrak is, and what it isn’t

In short

Guided programs for spiritual practice, sleep and reflection. Not medicine, not therapy, and not a promise of any particular experience.

Traks and practices

DreamTrak offers guided programs called Traks, lasting from 7 to 90 nights, along with techniques, narration, a dream diary, a compass for sleep direction and a companion called Teema. Some practices happen at night and some during the day. All of them are yours to take at your own pace.

Not medical or psychological care

DreamTrak is not a medical, psychological or therapeutic service. Nothing in it is a diagnosis, a treatment or a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Content is shared for education, reflection and general well-being.

Practise with care

Some practices involve breathwork, stillness, visualisation or changes to your sleep routine. If you have a heart, respiratory, neurological or mental health condition, are pregnant, or take medication that affects sleep or alertness, talk to a doctor before you begin. Stop any practice that leaves you unwell, dizzy or distressed. Never follow a practice while driving, operating machinery or anywhere you need to stay alert.

Inner practice is personal, and experiences differ from one person to the next. We can’t promise that any practice will lead to a particular experience, insight or result.

05

AI features

In short

Teema and DreamTrak’s other AI features can be helpful, and they can also be wrong. Use your own judgement, and never treat them as professional advice.

Some features use artificial intelligence, including Teema, diary reflections and voice check-ins. They’re optional, and you can switch them on or off in Settings.

  • Responses are generated automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of place. Check anything that matters before relying on it.
  • AI features don’t give medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
  • You may use what Teema tells you for your own practice. Using AI features doesn’t give you rights in our content, prompts or systems.
  • Don’t use AI features to create anything that breaks section 11, or to try to extract how they’re built.

How AI features handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

06

Purchases, subscriptions and refunds

In short

Trak 1 is free. Everything else, including Teema voice plans and extra minutes, is sold as a one-off purchase or a subscription. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and no purchase is refundable except where the law requires.

What you can buy

Trak 1 is free. Other Traks, bundles, subscriptions, Teema voice plans and extra Teema minutes are available in the app and on our website. The price, what’s included and any billing period are shown before you pay.

Buying in the app

In-app purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and their terms apply as well as ours. Subscriptions bought this way are managed, renewed and cancelled in your Apple or Google account, and refund requests for those purchases are decided by Apple or Google under their own policies.

Buying on the website

Web purchases are processed by Flutterwave or Paystack and charged in US dollars. Your bank may add currency conversion or other fees, which are between you and your bank.

Subscriptions and renewal

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. For in-app subscriptions, Apple and Google require you to cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Cancel in-app subscriptions in your Apple or Google account, and web subscriptions in your DreamTrak account on our website. Cancelling stops the next charge, and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
  • If we change the price of a subscription, we’ll tell you before the new price applies. It takes effect from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then if you don’t want to continue.

Teema voice plans and minutes

  • A voice plan gives you a set number of minutes with Teema each month, and a daily limit. Both are shown before you buy. A yearly plan is paid for twelve months at once and still gives you its minutes month by month.
  • Your plan’s minutes start again once a month, on the date shown in the app. Plan minutes you don’t use don’t carry over to the next month.
  • Extra minutes (top-ups) are used once your plan’s minutes for the month have run out. They don’t expire, but you need an active voice plan to use them. If your plan ends, any extra minutes you have left are kept for when you start a plan again.
  • Minutes are counted while you’re connected to Teema. They have no cash value and can’t be transferred, sold or exchanged.

Refunds

Traks, Teema minutes and add-ons are digital content that opens the moment you buy it, and much of their value is in that immediate access. For that reason, Trak purchases, bundles, subscription payments, Teema voice plans and extra minutes are not refundable, including for partly used periods and unused minutes, unless the law where you live requires a refund, or Apple or Google grants one for a purchase made through them.

If a payment is refunded or reversed, for example by Apple, Google or your bank, we remove what it paid for, including any Teema minutes it added.

If you live in the EU, the UK or another country that gives you a right to cancel online purchases, you ask us to make digital content available immediately when you buy it, and you acknowledge that this means you lose that right to cancel once the content is available. This doesn’t affect your rights if something you bought is faulty or not as described.

If you’re charged twice, charged in error, or can’t reach something you paid for, and we’ll put it right.

Gifts

A gifted Trak is paid for by the person giving it. Gifts aren’t refundable and can’t be exchanged for cash. If Apple or Google refunds a gift bought through them, the refund goes to the person who paid, and the gift is withdrawn.

Taxes

You’re responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchases, other than taxes we’re required to collect and pay ourselves.

07

The Referral Program

In short

You can earn commission when people you invite subscribe. Separate Referral Program Terms apply.

The Referral Program lets you earn commission when people you invite subscribe. Taking part means accepting the Referral Program Terms, which set out how commission is earned, when it’s paid and what counts as fraud.

The short version: no spam, misleading promotion, fake accounts, self-referrals or automated tricks. Commission is subject to fraud review and a minimum payout, and we can withhold or reverse commission earned by breaking the rules.

08

The community

In short

A place to share what practice brings up. Be kind, be honest, and help keep it safe for everyone.

Community spaces are for sharing experiences, questions and encouragement about practice. Treat other members with the respect you’d want in return. Don’t post anything that:

  • is abusive, harassing or threatening;
  • contains hate speech or discriminates against anyone;
  • is sexually explicit, or promotes violence or self-harm;
  • is spam, a scam or a phishing link;
  • shares someone else’s private information without their permission;
  • presents itself as medical advice, or encourages anyone to stop treatment they’ve been given;
  • infringes anyone’s intellectual property; or
  • breaks any law.

We use automated tools and human review to keep the community safe. We may remove content, or limit or close accounts, that break these rules, and you can a decision. What members post is their own view, not ours.

09

Your content

In short

What you create stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to store it, show it where you choose, and keep DreamTrak working.

You own the diary entries, voice notes, intentions, posts and anything else you create in DreamTrak.

So that we can provide the service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, back up, process, transmit and display your content, only as needed to run DreamTrak and in the ways you choose, such as showing a community post to the group you shared it with. For private content like your diary, this licence doesn’t allow us to publish it or show it to anyone else.

The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies in routine backups, which are cleared over time.

You’re responsible for your content, and you confirm you have the right to share it. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

10

Our content, and your licence to use it

In short

Traks, narration, music, artwork and the app itself belong to us or our licensors. You’re welcome to use them for your own practice, and not for more than that.

DreamTrak’s programs, scripts, narration, music, images, design, software and brand belong to us or to those who license them to us, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.

As long as you follow these Terms, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use DreamTrak and the content you have access to, for your own non-commercial practice. You may not:

  • copy, record, download (other than through offline features we provide), redistribute, sell or publicly perform our content;
  • use our content in classes, retreats, workshops or other paid offerings without our written permission;
  • use our content to train or improve any AI model;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the source code of the app;
  • scrape or collect content with bots or other automated means; or
  • remove copyright or other notices.

11

Using DreamTrak fairly

In short

Don’t misuse DreamTrak, the people in it, or the systems that keep it running.

You agree not to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else do so, through DreamTrak;
  • pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your connection with anyone;
  • access another person’s account or data without permission;
  • interfere with, overload, probe or get around DreamTrak’s security, limits or payment checks;
  • resell, share or transfer paid access;
  • upload malware or anything designed to cause harm;
  • use AI features to produce harmful or unlawful material, or to extract our prompts or data; or
  • misuse the Referral Program.

12

Other companies’ services

In short

Parts of DreamTrak rely on services such as Apple, Google and our payment providers. Their terms apply to those services.

When you sign in with Apple or Google, buy through an app store, or pay through Flutterwave or Paystack, you’re also using those companies’ services under their own terms and policies. We aren’t responsible for those services, or for third-party websites and content we link to.

13

Changes to DreamTrak

In short

We keep improving DreamTrak, which sometimes means changing or retiring things. When a change affects something you paid for, we’ll give notice where we can.

We may add, change, pause or remove features, content or programs. If we remove something significant that you’ve paid for, we’ll give reasonable notice where we can and, where it’s fair to do so, offer something comparable.

We work to keep DreamTrak available, but it may be interrupted from time to time for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. Some features need an internet connection.

14

Ending our agreement

In short

You can leave any time by deleting your account. We can suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put others at risk.

You can delete your account in Settings whenever you like. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription bought through Apple or Google. Cancel it in your Apple or Google account too, so you aren’t charged again.

We may suspend or close your account, or remove access to features, if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, act fraudulently, put other people or DreamTrak at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it’s reasonable and lawful, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

If we close your account without a valid reason under these Terms, we’ll refund the unused part of any subscription you paid us for directly.

Sections that by their nature should continue after our agreement ends, such as ownership, disclaimers, limits on liability and dispute resolution, will continue.

15

What we can’t promise

In short

We put care into DreamTrak, but we provide it as it is. Inner practice is personal, and results vary.

To the extent the law allows, DreamTrak is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that DreamTrak will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, or that following any Trak or practice will produce a particular outcome.

Some countries don’t allow these exclusions. If you live in one of them, parts of this section may not apply to you, and you keep the rights you have as a consumer.

16

Limits on our liability

In short

If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to what you’ve paid us in the past twelve months, except where the law doesn’t allow a limit.

To the extent the law allows, we and our officers, employees and partners won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from your use of DreamTrak.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to DreamTrak is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited under the law that applies to you.

17

Claims caused by misuse

In short

If someone brings a claim against us because you broke these Terms or the law, you’ll cover the cost, where the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, you agree to defend and compensate us for claims, losses and reasonable costs, including legal fees, that arise from your content, your breach of these Terms or your misuse of DreamTrak. This doesn’t apply to the extent a claim was caused by us, or where consumer law in your country doesn’t permit it.

18

Resolving disputes

In short

Talk to us first; most things can be settled that way. If not, disputes go to arbitration, and consumers keep the protections of their own country.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law rules. If you live in the EU, the UK or another country whose consumer laws give you rights that can’t be waived by agreement, you keep those rights, and nothing in these Terms takes them away.

Start with a conversation

Before starting a formal claim, please with your name, the email address on your account, what the issue is and what you’d like to happen. Both of us will try in good faith to settle it within 30 days.

Arbitration

If it isn’t settled within 30 days, either of us may refer the dispute to final and binding arbitration seated in Lagos under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023. There will be one arbitrator, and the arbitration will be conducted in English. You may take part by video. For claims under USD 10,000, we’ll ask for the dispute to be decided on written submissions unless a hearing is needed. Each of us pays our own costs unless the arbitrator decides otherwise.

Exceptions

  • Either of us may bring an individual claim in a small claims court, where it qualifies.
  • Either of us may ask a court for urgent relief to stop misuse of intellectual property, data or accounts.
  • If you’re a consumer in the EU, the UK or another country where mandatory law lets you bring proceedings in your local courts, you may do so, and this arbitration agreement won’t stop you.

Individual claims only

To the extent the law allows, disputes are resolved individually. Neither of us will bring, or take part in, a class action, class arbitration or representative proceeding against the other.

19

If you got DreamTrak from Apple or Google

In short

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google, though a few app store rules apply.

If you downloaded DreamTrak from the Apple App Store:

  • These Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we alone are responsible for DreamTrak.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
  • If the app doesn’t meet an applicable warranty, you can tell Apple, and Apple may refund the price you paid for the app. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • Apple isn’t responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that it doesn’t meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, or claims that it infringes someone’s intellectual property. We are responsible for handling those.
  • You confirm that you aren’t in a country subject to a US government embargo, and aren’t on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

If you downloaded DreamTrak from Google Play, Google Play’s terms also apply to your download and purchases.

20

The fine print

In short

The practical details: what the agreement includes, what happens if part of it doesn’t hold, and how we reach each other.
Whole agreement
These Terms and the policies they refer to are the whole agreement between you and us about DreamTrak.
If a part fails
If a court or arbitrator finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies, and that part is changed only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
No waiver
If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we haven’t given it up.
Transfers
You can’t transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example if DreamTrak changes ownership, without reducing your rights.
Events beyond control
Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside reasonable control, such as outages at our providers, natural disasters or government action.
Notices
We may contact you by email, in the app or by notification. You can reach us using the details in section 22.
Language
These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation and the two differ, the English version applies, unless your local law says otherwise.

21

Changes to these Terms

In short

When we update these Terms in a way that matters, we’ll let you know before the change takes effect.

We may update these Terms as DreamTrak and the law change. When a change is material, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, unless it has to apply sooner for legal or safety reasons.

If you keep using DreamTrak after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply. If you don’t agree with them, you can stop using DreamTrak and delete your account.
