App Not Loading or Crashing

2 min read

If DreamTrak is not loading properly, here are some steps to get things working again.

Step 1 -- Restart the app. Close DreamTrak completely (not just minimizing it) and reopen it. On iOS, swipe up from the bottom and swipe the app away. On Android, use the recent apps button and swipe DreamTrak closed.

Step 2 -- Check for updates. Open the App Store or Google Play and search for DreamTrak. If an update is available, install it. We regularly release fixes and improvements, and running an older version can cause unexpected behavior.

Step 3 -- Restart your device. A simple restart clears temporary memory issues that can affect app performance. Power your phone off completely, wait 10 seconds, and turn it back on.

Step 4 -- Check your internet connection. While DreamTrak works offline for many features, the initial load and certain functions require an internet connection. Ensure WiFi or cellular data is active.

Step 5 -- Clear the app cache. On Android, go to Settings then Apps then DreamTrak then Storage then Clear Cache. On iOS, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the app. Do not worry -- your data is synced to your account and will be restored when you sign back in.

Step 6 -- Contact support. If none of the above resolves the issue, email our support team via the contact form on our Support page with a description of the problem, your device model, and operating system version. We typically respond within 24 hours.
